In line with the policy of the Lenasia Muslim Association of reviewing and upgrading its text books, the LMA has published a revised edition of ‘Duas in the life of a Muslim’. To follow the Sunnah of our beloved master, Sayyiduna Muhammed (Sallallaahu alaihi Wa Sallam) is important for every Muslim. Rasoolullah (Sallallaahu alaihi Wa Sallam) has instructed us to remember Allah on every occasion. This book will assist the learner in practicing on these sunan of our beloved master. We urge the learners and readers of this kitaab to make a concerted effort in applying these Duas in their daily lives to gain benefit from the blessings and barakaat of remembering Allah Ta'ala. Requests have been made for referencing of the Duas so that the reader is at ease, knowing that the Duas have been sourced from reliable books of Hadeeth. Alhamdu Lillah, we have included the names of the books of Hadeeth in which these Duas were found. We have, however, omitted the page and volume due to the different editions and publications of these books.

As with previous editions of this and our other publications, Fiqhul Islam is part of the process of the constant upgrading and revision of the kitaabs in use in LMA Madaaris. Unlike the previous edition, this book includes the necessary duas in Arabic, as well as illustrations to aid both teachers and students alike. Working on the basis of lessons and worksheets, it is hoped that the format will enable teachers to derive the maximum response from their students in the short time available to them; students too should find that they are able to grasp the meaning of each lesson with more confidence than before.

This is a re-edited version of the Deeniyaat text book. This book covers the various aspects pertaining to Salaah and is the third in the series of Fiqh Text Books published by the LMA for learners in the senior primary phase at Madrasah. In class five, the child was introduced to and instructed in one of the important aspects of Deen, i.e. Tahaarah. The sequel to this is the establishment of Salaah, which our Beloved Nabi has referred to as "The differentiating factor between Kufr and Imaan". It is the object of "Fiqhul Islam Book Four" to allow the Muslim child to acquire knowledge of all the aspects of Salaah to enable him to perform his Salaah in accordance with the requirements of the Shari'ah. The book has been graded according to the child's understanding, in keeping with the basic educational precept that text books of this nature be within the child's mental capacity. Its publication forms an integral part of the carefully prepared programme of Deeni Taleem as instituted by the L.M.A. The sections towards the end of the book regarding Qurbani, Aqeeqah, and rules pertaining to women have been included in this book since these topics are part of the essentials of Deen which form part of the class six syllabus.
