Masjid Bilal, situated on Sirkon Avenue Ext. 5 was opened in the 1970’s as a small Masjid in the Madrasah complex. As the area developed and the Musallees increased, the adjacent hall was incorporated into the Masjid. Although not an ideal situation, the Masjid has served the Musallees for close on to thirty years.

Alhamdulillah the Musallees with the L.M.A Executive have embarked on fundraising for the necessary renovations. An approximate estimate is eight hundred thousand to a million Rands.

Alhamdu Lillah, renovation of this Masjid has been completed. May Allah Ta’ala reward all those who had taken part in this project.

There is a dire need to improve facilities at Masjid Himayatul Islam (Rainbow Masjid), the oldest Masjid in Lenasia. Plans are afoot to commence with this task. May Allah Ta’ala ease this task and bring it to fruition.
